Ohio State and Penn State are playing on Thursday night in a college basketball matchup in the Big Ten and the game for the Buckeyes is on the road at the Bryce Jordan Center and starts up on ESPN2 and WatchESPN at 7 pm ET and has OSU taking on the Nittany Lions as the schedule nears the end and heads to the March Madness tournament.

The Buckeyes come into the game after a blowout win against Minnesota and they allowed just 46 points in that game and while the team has been a bit of a disappointment in the Big Ten, losing all six of their games this season overall in conference, they are now ranked number 22 in the nation. The team comes in to play Penn State before playing against the Indiana Hoosiers at Assembly Hall and the team comes in scoring just over 70 points per game.

Ohio State has played its way back into the rankings and they are 22-6 overall this season and just 9-6 in the Big Ten and Aaron Craft has been very good once again, leading the team in assists with nearly five per game and he has been very good defensively again as well. The team is chasing Michigan in the conference standings and the Big Ten itself is one of the best in the nation, as they have five ranked teams right now in the Wolverines, Michigan State, Wisconsin as well as Ohio State and Iowa. Michigan is in first place and heading down the rest of the schedule, Ohio State plays against Indiana and then Michigan State to end things.

The team has played much better since a stretch of losing four straight and five of six, as they have won six of the last seven games, including the last three in a row against Minnesota, Northwestern and Illinois. The team has nice wins over Iowa and Wisconsin, but they had a tough stretch earlier in the season while losing to Michigan State and Iowa along with Nebraska and Minnesota and now they are trying to finish things up strongly.

Penn State comes into the game after a loss against Nebraska and they play against Wisconsin to finish things up and they play against Northwestern and Minnesota to finish the season on the schedule. The team has lost four of the last five games and they are looking to pull the upset on Thursday and they come into the game scoring over 70 points per game. The Buckeyes are looking for another win and the matchup should be a good one.
