Southampton and Liverpool are playing live on the English Premier League schedule on Saturday as the final match of the day and the EPL table has Chelsea in first place and they start up at 12:30 pm ET at the Friends Provident St Mary's Stadium and comes after the scheduled Sunderland and West Brom match, which was off since the team is playing Man City in the Capital One Cup on Sunday.
Liverpool has been playing very well this season and they come into the match after a win against Swansea City and that came after a loss on the road against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium and now they come into the weekend at fourth on the Premier League table. The Reds had a nice run around Christmas time and New Years where they made it to the top of the league table, but it was short lived, as Arsenal took back the spot before falling out after a nice run from Chelsea and now the Blues have been leading the EPL for a number of weeks by a small margin and they have been playing some great football as well.
Both teams come in having played 27 matches and Southampton has 39 points this season while the Reds have 56 and they are looking to move up on the league table from number four and they have been fantastic scoring the ball this season, as Luis Suarez is leading the league and their goal differential is off the charts. The team has scored 70 goals and has allowed just 35 and Suarez himself has had 23, while Jay Rodriguez i leading Southampton with 10 this season.
The team has a tough schedule coming up and they play Chelsea at the Anfield later this year and they also have matches with Tottenham and Manchester United and that will be at Old Trafford and the team also plays Manchester City at the Anfield and all those matches will be huge to see who wins the English Premier League. The Table has Chelsea in first over Arsenal and the Gunners are in the lead over Manchester City and they are ahead of Liverpool.
