Tottenham and Cardiff City are playing on the English Premier League schedule and the Spurs match will be streaming online from the NBC Sports Live Extra website and comes live from White Hart Lane and comes ahead of a huge matchup with Chelsea and the Hotspur are coming off of a win against Dnipro in the Europa League and now they are into the next round and the match Sunday starts at 11:30 am ET.
Tottenham got a score from Emmanuel Adebayor in the match against Dnipro and that came after a disappointing loss against Norwich City the week before and now they are looking to get back on track in the EPL against Cardiff before playing Chelsea and then against Arsenal at White Hart Lane and that comes after the third round first leg match against Benfica in the Europa League tournament. Tottenham is fifth on the Premier League table and they have to start playing better to get back into things, as Manchester City is seven points up, while Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are ahead on the table and with the teams playing against each other over the back stretch, the Spurs need to make sure they win their top games.
Chelsea comes into the day on the top of the EPL standings and that comes after a win against Fulham on Saturday and they now have a solid lead over Arsenal, as the Gunners lost and are now tied in points with Liverpool, while the Reds and Gunners are two points up on Man City. Tottenham is next on the table ahead of Everton, while Manchester United, Newcastle and Southampton are next on the standings.
Everton won the first match of the day after a late goal at home from Romelu Lukaku against West Ham United, while Chelsea won after a hat trick from Andre Schürrle against Fulham on the road. Newcastle won over Hull City 4-1 with a nice day from Moussa Sissoko and that came before Stoke City won over Arsenal 1-0 and that came after a late penalty from Jonathan Walters on a penalty. Sunderland and West Brom was put off since the Capital One Cup final is Sunday, while a Manchester United and Man City match was moved as well earlier in the season. Liverpool won over Southampton and Luis Suarez added another goal to his league leading total and so did Raheem Sterling and Steven Gerrard and now the reds have one of the best goal differentials in the league.
Adebayor has been playing well and he has scored five times in his last four appearances and Tim Sherwood has been pulling the right moves for the team and they are looking to get into the mix for the Champions League. The Spurs play against Sunderland later in the season and Aston Villa is the final match on the schedule, while the team also plays West Ham and Stoke City. Cardiff comes in after a loss at home to Hull City and they have a match against Liverpool coming up as well and they are at 19 on the league table in line for relegation.
