The Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers are facing off on Tuesday night in an NBA game and the matchup will be from Indy at Cankers Life Fieldhouse and starts up on the NBA.com League Pass website at 7 pm and has a preview of two playoff teams in the league this season.
The Pacers have been the best team in the east all year and the Warriors have been hanging around in the middle of the west and now the two teams face off. Last season the Warriors had a surprising run in the playoffs and the Pacers made it all the way to the eastern conference finals against the Miami Heat. The Pacers finished that series in seven games and got sent home and this season all their moves and their first place determination is all about home court against Miami.
The team added Andrew Bynum this season and traded for Luis Scola in the offseason and after bringing on Evan Turner at the trade deadline, the team is even stronger. Miami has been pushing the Pacers and they are just a couple games back in the standings and after LeBron James scored 61 points on Monday, the Pacers will be looking to get their NBA best home record to 30-3 with a win against the Warriors and a loss would put them just a game up on Miami.
The Warriors come into the game after a loss against the Toronto Raptors and that has continued the strong play from Stephen Curry, as he had a triple double against the Knicks last week and had 34 points and seven assists in the game against Toronto. The Warriors come into the game ranked 10th in the league in scoring with 103 points per game and they are allowing 98 for the ninth best in the NBA and they have been playing well overall, ranking second in rebounds per game and 10th in assists and they are second behind the Clippers in the Pacific division.
The Pacers come into the game after a close win against the Jazz and they next play on the road against the Charlotte Bobcats and the team has been playing very well of late and they have 46 wins on the season and just 13 losses. Roy Hibbert and Paul George have been fantastic this season and the team is ranked first in the NBA in points allowed per game with 91 and they are averaging 99 per game and are fourth in rebounds per game with David West and Hibbert leading the way.
