Portugal and Cameroon are playing in a World Cup international friendly match on Wednesday and the game with Cristiano Ronaldo's team is streaming online and comes live from Estadio Dr. Magalhaes Pessoa and comes ahead of Spain and Italy's matchup and leads into the Brazil 2014 tournament for the Portuguese side and their tough group.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the leader in scoring for the team in this stage and the team comes in after a win over Sweden and that was back in World Cup qualifying and Ronaldo nearly was left home for the Cup and he is by far the best player for the team. Portugal won 1-0 over Sweden before adding three more goals in a win in qualifying and that got them through very close over Zlatan Ibrahimovic's team and now they are in the toughest group in the World Cup and they still hagve a friendly coming up, as they play against Mexico after the matchup with Cameroon and then they open the World Cup with Germany.
The game against Mexico will be in June just ahead of the tournament and that will be at Gillette Stadium and then the team faces off with Germany in the World Cup and they have the toughest set in Group G, as they are with the United States, Ghana and Germany and that will be a tough group to win and even to get out of. Portugal starts off with Germany and that will be on the first Monday and comes from Arena da Baixada, while the next match will be at Arena Amazonia and that is against the United States and then the team plays against Ghana and that will be at the Nacional and they have a tough schedule, but they are a team that can get through.
Cameroon comes in after qualifying in their last matchups and that was against Tunisia and they got that done to get in and now they play against Portugal and then a matchup with Germany and that will be from Borussia-Park before the World Cup begins. The group with the United States and Germany and Ghana and Portugal is one of the toughest overall and Ronaldo will have to get his team playing better, as he is the best star and while they are skilled, they will have to be great to get through.
Cameroon is in Group A and that means they are with the host nation in Brazil and that also includes Croatia and Mexico and while that is not an easy group, it's one that will be competitive. Brazil is likely to get through and Mexico has a strong team as well as the team starts off with Mexico at Estadio das Dunas and then they play against Croatia in the jungle in Arena Amazonia before finishing in a very anticipated match against Brazil in the Nacional.
