After a record-breaking performance against the Charlotte Bobcats, LeBron James failed to follow it up with anything productive against the Houston Rockets. Defense limited him all night resulting in just 22 points after putting up 61 in the night for. The Heat lost ending their eight-game winning streak. Now the champs will look to get back on a roll as they face the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night.

James blamed fatigue on his quiet performance against Houston. He told media he was extremely tired after the Monday game. It showed on the court as James put up just three points in the half while going 1 for 7 in the final two quarters. James attempted a desperation 3 at the buzzer to try and win the game that failed to go in. The Heat certainly hope their leader is well rested as they face the Spurs for the second time since beating them in the NBA Finals last season.

The Heat dominated the Spurs in the team's first meeting this season. James was efficient with 18 points as five other Miami players reached double-figures in points. Chris Bosh led the effort with 24 points as the team shot 58 percent overall. San Antonio shot 50 percent, but the team missed 16 of 22 3-point shots, not helping the effort.

The Spurs will get a boost this matchup. Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard and Tiago Splitter are expected to be back in the lineup after missing the first game against the Heat. The Spurs are coming off a solid win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Six players reach double figures in points, even while Tim Duncan and Tony Parker combined for just 14 points. Both will need to play better to beat Miami.
