The Wildcats are searching for their sixth straight win as they head on the road to Oregon. The Ducks are playing their best basketball of the season and a win against Arizona would certainly boost their tournament resume with a seventh straight win. The Wildcats have their own momentum going. The team put up wins against Stanford and Oregon State to secure the Pac 12 title.
Arizona is coming off one of their worst shooting performances of the season.They shot 42.1 percent on Wednesday against Oregon State. They were outrebounded 43-34, but banked off turnovers, creating 21 points off 17 Beaver turnovers. Getting outrebounded is rare for Arizona. The Wildcats rank first in the conference with 39.0 per game. Oregon State was actually tied for 10th in that category.
Oregon look full of promise when the year began. The Ducks went 13-0 before losing eight of their next 10 games. Now, they are on a six game win streak and hoping to keep things alive. Mike Moser is a big part of that. He is averaging 19.0 points in the past five games while putting 16.3 boards as well.
The Ducks snapped their three-game losing streak to Arizona last season, beating the Wildcats at home, but followed that up by losing to them on the road earlier this season. Oregon is 0-2 against ranked teams this season, but will try and notch their third-straight win over a Top 25 team at home.
