The Gunners were in first place on the EPL table for some time and after holding onto it after the New Year and Christmas, the team was knocked off by Chelsea and now they must fight back. Arsenal now has to jump over Liverpool as well and coming up they have some very tough matches and this next stretch could decide whether the team finishes on top this season or not. Arsenal plays against the Spurs on the road and then they have another tough test, as they will travel to face Chelsea and that will be at Stamford Bridge as the Blues host and then the team comes home for Swansea City and that sets up another huge match between teams at the top of the table, as the Gunners host Manchester City at the Emirates.
Bayern comes into the day with all the momentum and Arsenal will be looking to tray and surprise the team, who has Mario Mandzukic, Thomas Müller, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry as their leading scorers at home and they have the chance to finish off the Gunners. Bayern just doesn't lose at home and they are dominating Bundesliga again with a huge lead over Dortmund and it will take a miracle to catch back up.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said that he felt his team is ready to get things going and after a win in the FA Cup to advance there, the team is ready to try and do something special on the road in the Champions League. The English Premier League is coming back for the team as well and they are looking to get back into the mix there and now the team has to try and come back from a 2-0 deficit and that is very tough on the road against a team like Bayern, who has totally dominated their home league.
