NCAA March Madness doesn't officially begin until the 2014 tournament starts, but on Wednesday it will have the same feel on the schedule, as the Big East, ACC, Pac-12, SEC, American, Atlantic 10 conference and Mountain West will all be in action for a full day of college basketball, with teams like Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Washington, USC, Texas Tech, Rutgers, Boston College, Stanford, Georgetown and Washington State getting ready to ball.
The day starts off with Notre Dame taking on Wake Forest in the ACC tournament and that starts up at 1 pm ET and after that the Pac-12 tournament starts up with Washington taking on Utah. The ACC continues with Virginia Tech and Miami, while later on will have Boston College and Georgia Tech playing and some of the other games include South Florida and Rutgers, DePaul and Georgetown as well as Washington State against Stanford and Oregon State taking on Oregon.
Florida remains the top team in the nation and they are number one in the AP Top 25 ahead of Wichita State after the Gators finished an undefeated SEC season, while the Shockers completed an undefeated season overall with a 34-0 record. The team won the Missouri Valley Conference title and is into the NCAA tournament, while Villanova is at number three, Arizona is four and Louisville is five.
