The NY Knicks and Boston Celtics are playing live on Wednesday night from TD Garden and the game is streaming online from the NBA League Pass website and comes as Phil Jackson is signing with New York to take over basketball operations and this game starts up at 7:30 pm ET and has NY coming in on a rare winning streak.
The Knicks have not had much to cheer about all season, but they come into the game on a five game winning streak and have the chance to push towards the playoffs with a win over the Celtics. The team has beaten teams that they should in the Jazz, Timberwolves, Cavaliers and 76ers, but in a season without anything good, the Knicks and their fans will take it. The team has been playing very well on offense and have been averaging over 100 points in the streak and now they have the chance to keep that going on the road.
The Knicks come in after a win against the Sixers and that saw 28 points from Tim Hardaway Jr. and Carmelo Anthony put up five assists and nine rebounds and now they play the Celtics and then the Milwaukee Bucks and those could be two more very important wins as they chase the eighth playoff stop. The team is scoring just under 100 points per game and they need to win this game to keep up in the playoff race and while this season has been a disaster, making the postseason would make the sting hurt just a bit less.
