Stanford and Arizona State are playing in the Pac-12 Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday night and the matchup comes live from FOX Sports 1 and streaming online at 11:30 pm ET and the Cardinal and Sun Devils are looking to move along to the next round to the semis for a chance to get to the finals for a shot at an automatic bid for the NCAA tournament.
Stanford comes into the game after a win against Wahsington State in the tournament and they are 10-8 overall on the season in the conference, same as the Sun Devils, while the team is 20-11 and they are going up against an Arizona State team that is 21-10 on the season and Stanford comes into the game while averaging over 70 points per game and they are shooting 46 percent from the field and they are ranked in the top 75 in the nation. The team has won two in a row after finishing the season with three straight losses and after winning against Washington State they have the chance to make some noise in the conference tournament.
The team has some tough losses this season and they lost to Arizona twice and they won over UCLA and USC towards the end of the season and now they will try and keep up with ASU on Thursday night. Arizona State comes into the game after a loss to Oregon State and now they play against Stanford and they have the chance to get things going for their tournament resume and the team is averaging 75 points per game and they are ranked 67th in the nation in assists per game and they have been impressive up front, ranking 11th in the nation in rebounds per game and they are 17th in blocks per game and they have nearly six per contest.
The team lost two in a row to finish the season, including to Oregon and Oregon State and before that the team won over California and Stanford. The Cardinal game was a tight one and now the two will face off again and the winners of the Pac-12 tournament will get an automatic bid in the NCAA tourney.
