Tottenham and Arsenal are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Thursday and the matchup between the Spurs and the Gunners for the London Derby and it will be streaming live from the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website at 12:00 pm ET from White Hart Lane and it's the last EPL matchup of the week.
Tottenham will be relying on Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado to score on Sunday and the team comes in after a loss at home in the Europa League against Benfica and they have a second leg match coming from the Estadio da Luz and that will come before another matchup with Southampton. The Spurs are in position to get to the top part of the Premier League table and they have a huge matchup coming against Liverpool and that will be at the Anfield and then after that the team plays against Sunderland before games against Aston Villa, Fulham and West Ham United.
Arsenal has a tough schedule coming up at the end of the year and they were in first place on the league table for most of the season and they come in after a tough match against Bayern Munich and that was in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 matchup. Arsenal won 4-1 against Everton the last time out on the EPL schedule and they now will play against Tottenham at White Hart Lane before a matchup with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and then the team returns home for two games against Swansea City and Manchester City. The team comes into the weekend tied with Liverpool on the table standings and now both clubs are behind Man City for the moment heading into Sunday.
Arsenal has the FA Cup semifinals next month against Wigan Athletic at Wembley Stadium and that will be a chance for the club to get a trophy and they need to continue playing well in the Premier League to keep pace with the teams at the top of the table. The team has a huge matchup with Manchester City coming up and after that they play on the road against Everton before finishing the season with Hull City, Newcastle, West Brom and Norwich City in the final game of the year at Carrow Road. The two teams both need this win and the fact that it comes in the derby makes it even better and both sides have tough matches ahead after this one.
Tim Sherwood took over for Tottenham in the middle of the season and he has kept them in contention all year and now he has the chance to host the London Derby and a positive result would be huge to the Spurs and their chances this season in the EPL. The last time the two faced off the Gunners won 2-0 and that match was at Emirates Stadium for the FA Cup in the third round and it's possible that Adebayor, Kyle Walker and Mousa Dembele could be out Sunday. Arsenal will be looking to rebound from getting bounced in the Champions League after a loss against Bayern Munich and they have a 10 points lead to make up for with Chelsea.
