Manchester United and Aston Villa are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Saturday and the match will be from Old Trafford and comes after a tough loss at home in the Derby against Man City and it starts up at 8:45 am ET and the Red Devils will be looking to bounce back before their Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

Manager David Moyes and star Wayne Rooney have spoken about how tough this season has been and they both are pushing for a strong finish to bring into the end of the schedule and there still are important games to play, including the UCL quarterfinals against the defending champions. United won on the road against West Ham United before losing the Derby at home against Man City and now they are hoping to bounce back before hosting Bayern at Old Trafford and that match will be very crucial, as a strong performance there could spark an upset in the round.

Rooney has to deal with the loss of Robin Van Persie for over a month and that means he will miss the two matches against Bayern Munich. The club will need a miracle in the Premier League to get back into Champions League qualifying and that means they will have to give everything they have in the first leg at Old Trafford and that comes on April 1 on Tuesday. After playing in the Champions League the team matches up with Norwich City, Sunderland and Hull City at Old Trafford before finishing the season on the road against Southampton.

Rooney is leading the team over Van Persie in goals and assists and he will be out of the match after injuring his knee back in the last round of the Champions league and that was against Olympiakos and the team advanced after a hat trick from Van Persie. Moyes has been under fire all season and a strong finish to the schedule could give him some goodwill heading into the summer and so will a steady performance against Bayern after getting beat badly in the Derby and that hurt even more with it being at Old Trafford.

Aston Villa comes into the day 12th on the table and despite a win recently against Chelsea they are the underdogs and the Red Devils come in at seventh in the league table behind Tottenham. The team is looking to get up into the mix in the top six and the Blues are leading the EPL table over Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal. Man City and the Gunners are playing at 1:30 pm ET and that will be the late game at Emirates Stadium before the matches on Sunday with the Reds and Spurs playins at the Anfield.
