The Seattle Mariners and LA Angels are playing Game 2 of their series on Tuesday night and after the M's opened with a win to start the season, the Angels are hoping to bounce back and the matchup starts at 10:05 pm ET and is streaming from the MLB.com website fom Los Angeles.

The Mariners started the season with a bang and they have now won eight straight opening day games after taking the matchup with the Angels 10-3. Felix Hernandez improved to 5-0 on Opening Day after making his seventh straight start as the number one man in the rotation and he was very sharp, striking out 11 batters and making one big mistake, a home run to Mike Trout in the first inning on his first at-bat of the season. Hernandez rebounded from that home run along with another RBI from Albert Pujols and eventually the Mariners took the lead and the bullpen was able to hold things before some insurance runs in the ninth.

The Mariners have a ton of optimism this season and high expectations after signing Robinson Cano and he got off to a good start with two hits and now he will get the chance to play his season game for Seattle. Lloyd McClendon won his debut game as the manager of the Mariners and now in the second game it will be CJ Wilson facing off against Erasmo Ramirez, who has moved up in the rotation after Hisashi Iwakuma and Taijuan Walker hit the DL. Wilson has a career record of 8-2 against the Mariners and Mike Trout has a history with Ramirez, hitting a home run in 10 at-bats against him and he has ranked against the Mariners at home, hitting over .350 with 15 RBIs in the last 19 in LA.

The Mariners rotation and lineup has a number of young names and they contributed on Monday night, with Dustin Ackley hitting a triple along with Mike Zunino, while Justin Smoak broke the game wide open with a three run home run and that is what the team envisioned when the season started. The Mariners have issues in the bullpen, but they were able to hold back some trouble last night and now they are looking to remain in first place in the AL west after they were the lone team in the division to win on Monday. The Angels have missed the playoffs the last four seasons and are looking to get off to a good start and they want to get their first win of the season on Tuesday night.
