The Oscar Pistorius murder trial in South Africa has continued to get very dramatic and things are live again on Tuesday as the Olympic star continues to give his defense about the shooting of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp after breaking down into tears over his last appearances, forcing the judge to give breaks in the trial and the prosecutor Gerrie Nel has been very persistent in his questioning of what happened the night of the killing.
Pistorius was questioned numerous times about what he did the night of the filling and the prosecutor accused the Olympic star of changing his story and not correctly defending his actions that he previously stated to police. Pistorius has broken down numerous times on the stand in the case and he has been questioned hard about why he shot at the bathroom door in his home and what he was thinking at that time and where he thought Steenkamp was. Pistorius fired four times into the bathroom and hit his girlfriend and the prosecution is accusing the star of premeditated murder and the lawyer Nel questioned Pistorius about the possibility that a fight preceded the shooting.
Pistorius claims that he thought there was an intruder in his house and that is why he shot into the bathroom and that he did it quickly and did not realize that it was his girlfriend in the bathroom. She was hit with the first shot and Pistorius said that he did not hear anything in the bathroom between the four shots he put through the door. Pistorius has broken down multiple times on the stand and he could be facing life in prison for the shooting if he is convicted and Pistorius claimed he was not firing at Reeva or anyone, but that he just did it and did not have time to think about it, as he was worried it was an intruder.
