The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies played Game 2 on Monday and now the series is tied 1-1 with the Grizzlies winning out 111-106 in OT after OKC won the first game with a nice comeback and now the two teams have a tough series ahead in their first round western conference matchup.

Zach Randolph was able to put in a bucket with 26 seconds to take a two point lead and the final stretch of overtime was just as exciting as the final minutes of regulation. Durant had a chance at the end and after passing the ball the team turned it over and that allowed Memphis to get the ball in and they were fouled and they took the inbound with just under 20 seconds left in the period.

Kendrick Perkins tied the game after a missed three at the end of regulation and the decision to bring in Perkins on the foul shot from Conley really changed things and he was able to put the Westbrook miss in. The four point play with Durant led to that and the offensive rebound gave Perkins a great finish to regulation to send the game into overtime. Marc Gasol fouled out late in the first overtime period and Kevin Durant later missed one foul shot with 35 second left to leave it a one point lead and he then tied the game with his second free throw.

The Grizzlies had the lead and Durant pulled a crazy play after getting a deflection, as he was able to put in a three pointer and got fouled and somehow he swished the shot and that gave the team a chance to cut it at the end with 13 seconds left. Durant pulled off an amazing shot to give their team a chance and after Memphis tried to bring in the ball, the Thunder had great D and forced the Grizzlies to take their last timeout and that made the final seconds very exciting. The Thunder fouled Mike Conley at the end of the things with 12 seconds left and he made one of two shots for a two point lead.

Westbrook and Durant scored the last 14 points for the team leading into the final seconds of the game and Westbrook missed on his three point look and that allowed Marc Gasol to snag the rebound and Mike Conley was fouled soon after. Kevin Durant had another chance but he had the ball taken from him and he felt he was fouled and that gave Memphis a chance to pad the lead at the end and that allowed Conley to push the lead to five points with 18 second left.

The Thunder then took a lead and the arena exploded after a breakaway dunk from Kevin Durant and that put the team up by one as there was just under 90 seconds left in the game. At the time Russell Westbrook had 29 points and six assists and Serge Ibaka added 11 rebounds and that dunk from Durant gave the team their first lead of the fourth quarter after being down heading into things in the final frame. Mike Miller gave the Grizzlies the lead with a three pointer with under a minute to go and that gave the Grizzlies a chance at the end of things.

The Grizzlies had 17 points from Zach Randolph at the time in the fourth quarter and Mike Conley had 11 assists and the teams have been even in the fourth quarter heading into the final minute after the Grizzlies had the lead early in the game. Memphis is one of the best defensive teams in the league and they have shown why against the Thunder and this has been one of the best matchups so far of the playoffs.
