The Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls pick up for Game 2 of their eastern conference playoffs series in the NBA on Tuesday night and the matchup from the United Center has John Wall and Joakim Noah looking to push their teams to victory and the basketball matchup starts at 9:30 pm ET as the late game on the schedule from TNT and it will be streaming online as well from the overtime website.
The game gives Washington a chance to take a commanding 2-0 lead and winning both of those games on the road could be huge for a young team like the Wizards and could give Wall what he needs to fully take his skills to the next level. The first game saw the Wizards take the lead out of the first quarter but they couldn't hold on after that until later in the game and that came during a great fourth quarter and Wall was able to help lead the comeback
The Wizards ended up outscoring the Bulls by 12 points and that was enough to get the victory and it wasn't close by the end and the team got a great game from Wall as well as Nene, who led scorers with 24 points. Marcin Gortat has proven to be a worth acquisition for the team, as he had 13 rebounds, while Bradley Beal added seven rebounds in the game. The Bulls got a great game from newly named defensive player of the year Joakim Noah, as he ended up with 10 rebounds and four assists and now he will be key as Game 2 picks up as well.
Noah comes in after averaging 12 points per game this season and the team needs to get more from Mike Dunleavy as well as Carlos Boozer. The Bulls have plenty of talent, but playing without Derrick Rose in the playoffs for the second straight season is tough and now they will try to overcome it. Wall has been playing very well this season and he averaged nearly 20 points and he will try to beat a Bulls team for the second time in two games after they went 27-14 at home this season.
The game comes before the matchups on the Wednesday schedule and that starts off with the Miami Heat hosting the Charlotte Bobcats in Game 2 and that will be from American Airlines Arena in South Florida after LeBron James led his team to a victory in the first matchup. The second game on the schedule has the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs facing off and it comes after the Mavs have not won in SA in years and while they kept the first game close, they could not get ahead to win.
The Portland Trail Blazers and the Houston Rockets are two of the best offensive teams in the playoffs right now and their Game 1 in overtime was spectacular and now they will be looking to take a commanding lead on the road. Those matchups are on TNT and NBATV on Wednesday and come before the Thursday schedule picks up with Game 3 in the Indiana and Atlanta series. The Oklahoma City Thunder will visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, while the Clippers will head north to face the Warriors.
