NFL Schedule 2014 Released On ESPN All 32 Teams Games For Football Season Starting Week 1

Apr 23, 2014 07:51 PM EDT

The NFL schedule will be released live on Wednesday on ESPN2 in a TV channel presentation from the league and the live stream will come from the WatchESPN website at 8 pm ET and will run until 10 pm against the NBA playoffs as all 32 teams will fill out their calendars with opponents and while the game matchups are already known, the date and weeks on the schedule are not in place and that will give fans and franchises the chance to see how tough their schedules will be this season.

The NFL schedule has some games already set for obvious reasons, including the three London games this year and that is the most the league has had before and the matchups are very good this season. The games in London have been growing in popularity and the league wants to keep that going and this year the Jaguars will be playing another game there and that comes as the final game of the three and that will be against the Dallas Cowboys in November. That game is important for the league, as the Cowboys are a worldwide brand and the Jaguars in a way are "London's" team with them playing games there for three years.

The other England games at Wembley include the Miami Dolphins visiting the Oakland Raiders and that will be on September 28 and comes after the Fins played the Giants in the 2007 season. The second game has the Detroit Lions at the Atlanta Falcons and that will be an early game at 9:30 am ET and will be in October. Some other games that are set include the season opener on September 4 and while the Seattle Seahawks have now been officially named in that game, it's been recent tradition for the Super Bowl champions to open the season.

The Giants did it against the Dallas Cowboys two years ago, while the Ravens did it last season, although it was on the road since the Baltimore Orioles also were playing that night. The Seahawks and Denver Broncos are going to play at CenturyLink Field this season and that opening game could be the one, while the league is also flirting with adding more playoff teams and it remains to be seen how that will go. The league seems to be moving that way even if it doesn't happen in 2014.

The Oakland Raiders come in with the toughest opponents win percentage in 2014 and part of that is due to the division they play in, while the Colts and Titans have the lowest and again that is part of the division they play in since the Texans went 2-14 last season. The Seahawks, Chargers and 49ers are in the top 10 along with the Denver Broncos and St. Louis Rams, while the Cleveland browns and New York Giants may have the chance to turn things around, as they are in the bottom part in that stat.

There are some amazing matchups coming this season, including the Packers taking on the Patriots, while the Colts will rematch against New England and they also have an intriguing game with the Eagles. The Packers play the Carolina Panthers in a matchup of very good teams, while the Giants will be playing against the Houston Texans and the rest of the AFC South this season and they also have the 49ers on their schedule.
