The Indiana Pacers finally showed some power in Game 4 against the Atlanta Hawks. The two teams were in a tight battle from the start, going shot for shot with one another and the Pacers fought enough to tie the series up at two a piece. Now heading back to Indiana for Game 5, can the Pacers keep the momentum or will the Atlanta Hawks surprise once again?
The Pacers looked like the team in the first half of the NBA season in Game 4. While it has been months since the team has managed to win consecutive games, they played well enough to give fans hope the team is not the Eastern Conference top seed for nothing. After all of the criticism towards the team's toughness and discipline, the Pacers still have a long way to go to prove people wrong.
Frank Vogel had some choice words for his team despite the Game 4 win on the road. The head coach is hoping to motivate the team a bit to reach their goal of playing the Miami Heat in the conference finals. All season the Pacers have been targeting a disruption in the quest for a Heat three-peat and finally getting a win in Atlanta might help.
The Hawks have challenged Indiana in every part of the game, but in the end there are no moral victories and the No. 8 seed intends to keep fighting. However, the Pacers are slowly making adjustments and it is showing with the close games. The Hawks must regain their three-point shooting to take away from the size advantage Indiana has. Vogel has shifted to a smaller lineup in order to eliminate mismatches with players like Jeff Teague who scorched the team last time they were in Indiana.
Atlanta is 2-2 on the season in Indiana. The team remains confident they can get back to what was working in the first set of games and gain the lead once again.
