NBA Playoff Standings: Pacers Win Over Hawks For 3-3 Series Game 7 For Atlanta In Indiana Saturday

May 01, 2014 11:03 PM EDT

The NBA playoff standings has the Pacers tied 3-3 over the Hawks after their win in Atlanta and now the teams will have game 7 of the series in Indiana at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday and that will be one of two Game 7 matchups, as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies will play on the schedule and Paul George and David West kept Indy alive with the victory.

The Pacers obviously were in a must win situation with Atlanta up 3-2 in the series and now Indiana has the home court advantage back and the Atlanta Hawks may not have enough to win now that Indy has pulled through. The Hawks took Game 1 and Game 5 and while they looked like they had momentum coming into the game, they may have lost a little bit of that and now the Hawks have the chance to go on the road and win for the Game 7 matchup.

Paul George and David West each had 24 points in the game and Jeff Teague added 29 points and now the Pacers may finally have gotten themselves together and with one win in Game 7 they will advance to the second round. The winner of this series will play against the Washington Wizards and the PAcers came back at the end of the game and they outscored the Hawks by 10 points in the final quarter and they also beat them out in the second quarter.

West added 11 rebounds and six assists and he was key for the Pacers, while the Hawks got 18 rebounds from Paul Millsap and five assists as well and he was excellent and now Teague and Millsap will have to play games like this for the Hawks to win in the final matchup. The Thunder and the Grizzlies played and now they will be in a Game 7 as well and the first round has been very exciting and now the series is tied 3-3 in both of those matchups.

If the Clippers series ends up going to a Game 7, the teams will play on Saturday and that game will be in Los Angeles and on Thursday both LA and the Grizzlies have the chance to be the first to advance into the second round. The Clippers were looked at a legit title contender this year and now they have some major drama that no one expected when the playoffs started and that had the chance to ruin the team, as evidenced by Game 4, but it also could be what propels the team to the western conference finals, or at least the second round, as shown by the performance in Game 5 after the punishment came out.

The Clippers and the Warriors play Game 6 on the Thursday schedule along with the Pacers, Hawks, Grizzlies and Thunder and Saturday will have the game 7 matchups and some of those will be on ABC if they are necessary and the second round will begin next week.
