The NBA playoffs standings and results saw the Oklahoma City Thunder win over the Memphis Grizzlies for a 3-3 series tie after Game 6 and now OKC has forced a Game 7 and that will be back at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Saturday and the win saw Kevin Durant and company rebound after the loss in Game 5 and the matchup was not even close by the end and now there will be two final matchups with the Pacers and Hawks also playing.
The Thunder got a great game from Kevin Durant and he rebounded from the Game 5 loss with 36 points for Oklahoma City, while Marc Gasol led the way with 17 points for Memphis. The Game 7 now will be on Saturday and comes after OKC dropped the Game 5 matchup and after that game many came out to heap on Durant for his off shooting and he responded in a big way on Thursday and he also added 10 rebounds in the game and he will be looking to get OKC into the second round.
The Miami Heat and the Washington Wizards are the only teams into the second round now unless the Clippers win on Thursday night and the Thunder hope to join them on Saturday. Russell westbrook had five assists, while Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies with eight rebounds and Mike Conley had six assists and now Memphis will try to win again on the road to eliminate the Thunder for the second straight season.
The Atlanta Hawks beat the Indiana Pacers on Thursday and now that will have a Game 7 matchup as well after the Hawks had a 3-2 series lead coming into Game 6. Paul George and David West each had 24 points, while West added 11 rebounds and six assists. Jeff Teague had 29 points in the game, while Paul Millsap had 18 rebounds and five assists.
