NFL Draft 2014 Live Stream: Watch Online ESPN Streaming Day 3 From Radio City Picks Saturday

May 08, 2014 07:50 PM EDT

The NFL draft for 2014 is finally here after weeks of mock drafts and speculation and ESPN has the TV coverage starting on Thursday with the first round and the live stream is online from the WatchESPN website at Radio City Music Hall and the first round starts in primetime at 8 pm ET with Chris Berman, Adam Schefter, Mel Kiper and Todd McShay as Roger Goodell reads the names for the 32 picks and round 2 and 3 are on Friday starting at 7 p.

The Houston Texans come in with the first overall pick in the draft and they have looked at every player and every trade possibility very closely and the consensus has the team picking Jadeveon Clowney with the number one overall pick. The pick should be an easy one, as they are deciding between Clowney and a QB basically and Clowney should have been the number one pick had he been able to come out last year and that is one reason why they are picking him. Another is the fact that they have JJ Watt and adding Clowney to the defense could make the Texans and unstoppable force.

The draft is the 79th annual time the event is being held for the NFL and the first round will be live on TV from both ESPN and the NFL Network and it starts at 8 pm and then draft coverage will continue throughout the weekend. ESPN has Mel Kiper and Chris Berman as their central stars for the TV coverage and the analysis and there will be 30 players coming to Radio City to see if their names will be called and one of the most interesting stories is where Johnny Manziel will end up.

Manziel is coming out after winning a Heisman before last season and he is the biggest question of the draft, as some experts think he could go number one overall, while others say he is not a first round draft pick. Manziel and Blake Bortles are looked at as the top quarterbacks in the draft, while Teddy Bridgewater and Derek Carr look to be next in line. The second and third round of the draft comes on Friday and starts up at 7 pm, while the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh rounds of the draft will also be on TV and that starts over the weekend on Saturday and has the coverage picking up at 12 pm ET.

This draft is considered a very deep one and with the delay due to some scheduling at Radio City, the event should get a very high rating this year and that would be big for the league and ESPN. With names like Clowney and Manziel in the mix, people will be tuning in to see who their teams pick and there is plenty of intrigue in the top five this year with teams like the Jaguars, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders all making selections.

ESPN has been the king of the NFL draft over the years and they have carved out a nice piece of the coverage for themselves and they have turned it into a major event and that is why the coverage, mock drafts and picking apart of players has been non-stop on TV over the past few weeks. Clowney is likely number one, but after that is anyone's guess and Manziel will be the top focus for many fans watching.
