The Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins are playing on the NHL playoffs schedule on Saturday with Game 5 of the series coming up and they are tied 2-2 heading into the matchup and the game comes from TD Garden and has both sides looking to take a 3-2 series advantage after the Bruins won in overtime and it starts up at 7:00 pm ET and streaming from the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website.
The Canadiens won the first game in overtime and now the Bruins have tied things up with an overtime win of their own and that saw Matt Fraser get things done and now the series is tied at 2-2. The series now a best of three and this game will be back in Boston and that puts Carey Price and Tuukka Rask to the test to get another win and it comes with the Bruins getting some momentum after getting the overtime goal on Thursday.
The Bruins were the top seed in the NHL this year and in the playoffs they are scoring just under three goals per game, while the Canadiens are averaging over three goals. Montreal swept the opening series with the Lightning and they are playing very well and Price had a great game despite allowing the overtime goal and they are looking to take a 3-2 series lead. Price has a 2.30 GAA in eight games and he is 6-2 overall and the team is getting the most shots on goal from Rene Bourque and he is also leading the team in goals. P.K. Subban has been great with the Canadiens and he is tops in assists, points and penalty minutes, while Patrice Bergeron is leading for the Bruins.
