The NBA playoff standings has the Los Angeles Clippers tied 2-2 with the Oklahoma City Thunder after an epic 22-point comeback victory on Sunday and now Chris Paul has the momentum against Kevin Durant and the score was 101-99 after LA was able to pull ahead in the fourth quarter and now Game 5 is on Tuesday in OKC after the second matchup at the Staples Center.
Darren Collison scored a bucket late for the Clippers and Russell Westbrook missed a three pointer at the end of the game and now the series is tied up at 2-2 after the rally from Los Angeles at home. The whole Donald Sterling situation is still playing out for the Clippers and they have to deal with that daily and they have been playing well and they were able to win despite a fantastic game form the MVP in Kevin Durant.
The superstar led the Thunder with 40 points and seven rebounds and he also added three assists, two steals and two clocks, while Chris Paul had 23 points, five rebounds and 10 assists. The Clippers had a great rally in the fourth quarter and they outscored the Thunder by 14 points and that was enough to push ahead to get the win. The Thunder dominated the game into the fourth quarter and they faltered down the stretch and let the Clippers grab the momentum in the series.
Westbrook ended up having another impressive game with 27 points, but he couldn't sink the final three pointer down the stretch to get the lead and he had an open look to get it done. Collison had 18 points for the Clippers and he helped lead the 14th comeback for LA this season and now the series is tied with game 5 next on the schedule. The Pacers won over the Washington Wizards on Sunday night and they now lead the series 3-1 after making a big comeback to win Game 4. Paul George had a great game with 39 points and 12 rebounds, while Bradley Beal led the Wiz with 20 points.
