Oklahoma City Thunder Cursed by Lil Wayne?

Jun 22, 2012 11:15 AM EDT

Remember when the Chicago Cubs went into the 1945 World Series and they kicked a man out with a goat. He announced that the Cubs would never win a World Series again.

106 years later, the Cubs still find themselves searching for a title.

Rewind back to June 12th's Game 1.

Lil Wayne's twitter account posted that the artist had been mistreated by the Oklahoma City Thunder staff in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

He went on to wish the Thunder bad luck as he hoped, in a more explicit manner, that the Miami Heat could do their best to defeat the Thunder.

"Again I was treated like sh*t by the Thunder arena staff...dam..I hope da Heat beat da dog sh*t out em!!"

Here is the link to the article where I explain what transpired in Game 1 and in a prior altercation Weezy had with the Thunder staff at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. /articles/2799/20120613/lil-wayne-mistreated-thunder-fans.htm

After Game 1, the Thunder went on to lose every game.

Fans blame it on bad calls from the refs. Others say the Thunder played poorly. Another bunch believe the Heat were just too dominant.

What if the Thunder are under the Curse of Lil Tunechi?

How else could such a talented team fall so suddenly and rapidly to the Miami Heat?

Many had this series going at least six games because they wanted to give LeBron James the benefit of the doubt.

The Thunder had the advantage the whole way as far as size, speed and offense.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were unable to get teammates involved.

Maybe the Thunder should offer Weezy a lifetime courtside seat. He can't say no?

The Thunder will be one of the greatest teams in the league in the coming years. Who would not want to witness this team's great performances?

Now, Oklahoma City will try to get better for next year and hopefully make amends with the popstar that likely cursed the hopes of their NBA championship.
