The 2014 NFL draft is over and now it's time for teams to get grades for their picks and it also means it's time for 2015 Super Bowl odds and 2014 season power rankings following the draft and teams like the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots emerged best after the three day event.
The Seahawks remain as the favorite for the Super Bowl after winning last season and they improved by adding depth at a number of positions and their best pick was Kevin Norwood from Alabama, as he can help replace Golden Tate in the offense. The Denver Broncos are also still one of the favorites after making it last season and they added more in the draft on offense, taking Cody Latimer in the second round and he can help replace Eric Decker, who signed with the NY Jets in the offseason.
The Patriots took Jimmy Garoppolo with their second round pick, but they still are right in the mix as one of the top favorites, as they are bringing back Tom Brady and should have Gronk healthy. The Saints were one of the teams to move up and this comes after they traded up to get Brandin Cooks and he will be a major part of the offense and could end up as the offensive rookie of the year, as his skill set fits in perfectly with Drew Brees.
ESPN has the Seahawks, Broncos, 49ers, Pats and Saints as their top teams in the power rankings and many see those as the five best heading into next season. The Niners added Carlos Hyde to the offense and he could be great, while the Packers, Colts, Cardinals, Eagles and Bengals rounded out the top 10 in the post draft list.
