The NBA playoffs standings in the Eastern conference finals are now tied at 1-1 as the Miami Heat won over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 to even up the series and now things shift to Miami on Saturday for Game 3 and the victory came after LeBron James and Dwyane Wade led the team in the fourth quarter to a comeback to avoid going down 2-0 for the first time in the east finals since LeBron came to South Beach.
The Heat now have won every game following a playoffs loss since the Big 3 came together and Wade helped lead the way with 23 points, while James had 22 points and 12 of those came in the fourth, while Wade added 10 in the final frame. The two players basically took over and led Miami on a massive run against the Pacers after being down in the final minutes and the team took a 12-2 run to get the victory.
Wade led Miami in scoring while James had six assists and Chris Andresen was essential to the win, grabbing 12 rebounds and making some key shots down the stretch from the foul line. James and Wade took things into their own hands and when those two are playing off each other like they did on Tuesday night, the team is very hard to beat. Norris Cole made some key shots and was great on the defensive end and now he will be a focus for the Pacers in the next game, as he has shown he can make an impact on both sides of the floor.
Coming into the fourth quarter the Pacers were in control and Lance Stephenson was making tons of shots, but he went quiet and finished with a career playoff high of 25 points in the loss. Paul George had one of his worst shooting nights in his career and now Miami is looking to grab momentum at home. The Pacers have won there before, but the Heat are starting to take championship form and they will look to win both games at home.
