The New York Rangers are playing the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night and the matchup from the Bell Centre in the NHL playoffs is streaming online with a live stream and on the radio from the NBC Sports Network and NY is up 3-1 in the series in the eastern conference finals and they have the chance to make it to the Stanley Cup with a win in Game 5.

Martin St. Louis has been the key for the Rangers and he has made good on his promise after coming to the team in a trade for captain Ryan Callahan and now the team is just 60 minutes from being in the Cup for the first time since back in 1994. The team has been to the conference finals three times since then and this is the best chance for the team since the Mark Messier championship and it's only fitting that it's 20 years since the team hoisted that Cup for the first in over 50 years for the franchise.

The Rangers and Canadiens have been going back and forth in the media and on the ice in this series and most of that stemmed from the terrible and illegal hit on Derek Stepan, which resulted in a broken jaw and a two game suspension for Brandon Prust. That also led to the Dan Carcillo altercation and he now is appealing his suspension and after the war of words between the two sides about Derek Brassard's injury, he made the team pay with a goal in Game 4.

Carl Hagelin has been an offensive force for the Rangers in the series and he has been making his presence known, setting up St. Louis for the winning goal in overtime with a brilliant pass and he also scored the opening goal of the game. Hagelin made his bones at the University of Michigan and the Swede knows Lundqvist's brilliance from NY and the Swedish national team and now he has the chance to help get the Rangers into the Stanley Cup. Stepan may not be able to return with his broken jaw and while that is tough for the Rangers, the team has shown that players like Brian Boyle, Derek Dorsett and Dominic Moore can step up and play on different lines.

Dan Girardi, Marc Staal and Ryan McDonagh are three elite defensemen and they have been very clutch for the Rangers in this series and have kept players like Thomas Vanek and Max Pacioretty from taking over. The Canadiens finally got another goal from PK Subban and they felt they were close to a win in the last game and now cannot make any mistakes as they try and stay alive in the postseason. The Rangers have the series momentum on their side and can close things out after being back in the eastern conference finals for the second time in three seasons. The Rangers beat the Flyers and the Penguins on their way to the finals, while the Canadiens played against the Lightning and the defending east champion Bruins to get to the conference finals series.
