Uruguay vs. Northern Ireland Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Free World Cup Friendly Match

Uruguay and Northern Ireland are playing on the World Cup friendly schedule on Friday night and the match comes from Estadio Centenario ahead of the World Cup and the game starts at 7:30 pm ET and is streaming live from the BBC and Luis Suarez leads the way as the Uruguayan team is looking to get things going ahead of the tournament and it starts up on June 12 in South America.

Uruguay comes into the match after playing a draw with Austria in their last friendly and before that they matches up with Jordan and won that in the FIFA AFC/CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying and now they are back in action weeks ahead of the World Cup starting. The team will play against two teams not in the Cup, as they matchup with Northern Ireland and then against Slovenia before starting things off in Brazil.

Suarez comes in after having the best year of his career and he cleaned up with numerous awards, including the FA Player of the year and he also was by far the best player in the Premier League this season. Liverpool made some great plays all season with him and they had a chance to win the EPL title and came very close after he led the league in scoring. Suarez had 31 goals and he is the best bet for the national team in Brazil and things will be tough, as they matchup with England, Italy and Costa Rica and it will be a challenge just to get out of that tournament.

Suarez had knee surgery before the games started up and he will not be playing in the friendly and is expected to return for the World Cup. Suarez will need time to train and get fit heading into the World Cup and he may miss the first match against Costa Rica, but all reports say that he will be ready for the matchup against England and that is a very anticipated match. The English team has names like Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge that Suarez knows from Liverpool and that match also will have Wayne Rooney in the mix and is an EPL lineup of players.

Uruguay will face England in Sao Paulo and then the team will finish off the group stage with a matchup against Italy and it will be tough in this group to get to the next stage. Group G is considered the group of death this year with the United States, Germany and Portugal, but this group is going to be very tough as well and the England game against Uruguay will be much anticipated and that does down on June 19. Uruguay has to make sure they don't underestimate their opponent, as they are matching up with Northern Ireland and they need to get into game mode as they head into the tournament.
