The NCAA College World Series Baseball Tournament is live on ESPN and ESPN2 for the college playoffs in 2014 and the games are on TV and online with a streaming feed from the WatchESPN live stream starting at 8 pm ET for the final round and the games include Virginia and Vanderbilt as the Final Four is down to two looking to win in the championshp round.
Oregon State comes in against North Dakota State as the number one seed in the tournament and NDSU is a four and the Beavers are coming in hosting a regional for the fifth time in history for the school and it will be at Goss Stadium in Corvallis and the starters are Jace Fry and David Ernst and the matchup is on the radio from FOX and live from ESPNU and the WatchESPN website as the Beavers try to continue a strong season and they come in after scoring just 13 runs in the past seven games and they have been much better during the season.
OSU was first in the tournament and they came in as the best team in the west and they are the top team overall after winning the Pac-12 tournament, while the other national seeds include the Florida, Virginia, Florida State, Louisiana-Lafayette, TCU and LSU and Oregon State comes in after going 42-12 on the season and they were number three last year. The team is one of the favorites and they have a great rotation with Ben Wetzler, Jace Fry and Andrew Moore as well as left fielder Michael Conforto and now they could be the champions. The Friday play had the tournament open with a 16 team double elimination regional and then there will be best of three super regionals next week and then the College World Series will be in Omaha.
The SEC is the most represented team in the tournament and half the field was in the tournament last season and the Miami Hurricanes continued their historic streak, while Florida State is also in once again and they are looking strong this season. UCLA was the national title winner last year and will not defend their title and a team like Oregon State may take advantage.
