The Czech Republic and Austria are playing on the World Cup international friendly schedule on Tuesday and the match is a big one for both sides and starts up at 2:30 pm ET from Andruv Stadium in Olomouc, as both are not going to Brazil and this will be one of their final chances to play together ahead of the WC Tournament in 2014.
These two teams didn't make it to the World Cup in Brazil but they will be playing hard anyway as the tournament gets ready to start on June 12. Brazil and Croatia play the first match and in Group A Mexico and Cameroon will face off and that should be another good battle for El Tri. Group B has Spain in the draw and they will be one of the favorites after winning it last time and they will battle against Chile, Australia and the Netherlands.
Colombia has Greece, Ireland and Japan in their draw, while Uruguay, Costa Rica, England and Italy are in one group and that will be a tough draw as well. That group has a number of English Premier League players, including Luis Suarez, Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge and the English team is looking to make a deep run this time around.
The United States had the toughest draw when it was released earlier in the year and things have only gotten tougher, as they have to travel more miles from their HQ in Sao Paulo total than any other team in the tournament. The Us had their best year ever in 2013, but now they may not even get out of the group round and this comes as Jurgen Klinsmann also made the controversial choice to drop Landon Donovan from the roster.
The Us team has Portugal, Ghana and Germany in their draw and it's considered to be the group of death right now with all that skill. The Portugal team has one of the best players in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo, while Germany is Klinsmann's old team and Ghana is the team that knocked out the United States in each of the past two World Cups and now could make it a third. The Swiss have a group with Honduras, France and Ecuador that will be tough and the French are also looking to erase the bad memories from last time around. Brazil and Spain are considered the top favorites along with Argentina and it should be amazing World Cup tournament.
