England and Honduras are playing on the World Cup Friendly schedule on Saturday at Sun Life Stadium and the match is streaming online with a live stream on beIN Sport at 4:45 pm ET and 9.45 p.m. local time in GB and it's live from Sun Life Stadium in Miami as the English and Honduran teams get ready for the WC to begin in Brazil next week.
The English team is preparing for a deep run this year and they have a very tough group with Italy, Costa Rica and Uruguay and it will be very hard to get out to the knockout stage. Players like Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Frank Lampard and Raheem Sterling will have to step up after the performance of the team last year and England comes into the match against Honduras after a draw with Ecuador and that's the last true match for the team before Roy Hodgson's side takes on Italy in the first match for the players on June 14, the third day of the tournament.
The Brazil 2014 World Cup begins with the home nation taking on Croatia in Sao Paulo on Thursday, June 12 and then the rest of Group A will play on Friday with Cameroon taking on Mexico. The England team plays Italy in their first match and that is a classic rematch and comes from Manaus at the Amazonia Stadium and that is one of the tougher places to play. The second came comes against Uruguay in the main stadium in Sao Paulo at Arena Corinthians and the finals group match comes against Costa Rica and that will be on June 24.
England did not have their best performance against Ecuador but they are starting to come together and they matchup against Honduras with a chance to win, as that team has lost two straight and now the Three Lions can get another game to play together. Portugal is getting Cristiano Ronaldo back and he has started training and should be back for the team at some point and one of the biggest issues for England is their inexperience and front line work. The team has some injuries to deal with and a match with Honduras could be a nice warm-up, as Honduras is going to the Cup, but they are one of the weaker teams in the overall field and may not make it to the knockout round.
Honduras comes in after giving up six goals and scoring two against Israel and Turkey, but they previously have beaten Mexico and Ecuador last year on their way to the World Cup and now this is the last match with England before the Cup begins. Steven Gerrard is coming off of a good year with Liverpool and the team has a tough draw and schedule and are looking to get things in shape heading into the Cup. Raheem Sterling will be out for the final game after getting a red card in the last game and while that will be tough for the team, it gives another player the chance to step up.
