St. Louis Cardinals vs. Toronto Blue Jays: Watch Online MLB Streaming Game

Jun 08, 2014 01:02 PM EDT

The St. Louis Cardinals and Toronto Blue Jays are playing on the MLB schedule on Sunday afternoon and the interleague game is streaming from the MLB.com website at the Rogers Centre and comes with the Jays leading the AL East and things start up at 1:07 pm ET for the series finale.

The Blue Jays come in after losing against the Cardinals and that saw Mark Buehrle lose just his second game of the season and now he is 10-2 on the year and the Jays will look to rebound on Sunday. The team is first in the AL East and they have been the most consistent team in the division and they have been mashing the ball, with Edwin Encarnacion mashing 16 home runs in May and Jose Bautista has been great as well hitting the ball. The Cardinals have not been very good offensively and they were out-homered by Encarnacion last month and now they will try and keep things going this weekend after getting the win on Saturday.

The Jays open up a series with the Twins Monday and they come into the game second in the league in runs and fifth in batting average and the team is also third in on base percentage and second in slugging percentage. The team comes into the game 18th in ERA and 14th in quality starts and if they can pitch a little better the team should stay atop the division. The Jays have done a nice job staying on top of the Orioles, Yankees and Red Sox and the game on Monday has RA Dickey against Ricky Nolasco.

The Cardinals got back on track with the win against the Jays and they start a series on the road against the Rays to continue their interleague play and that happens to be against the worst team in the league. Adam Wainwright will be on the mound for the team and that comes after Jaime Garcia and Drew Hutchison matchup on Sunday in the game. The team is ranked 23rd in the league in runs and they have really been missing Carlos Beltran's bat in the lineup and they are also 27th in slugging percentage.
