Roger Federer just finished defeating Fabio Fognini in three straight sets, 6-1, 6-3, and 6-2.
Still remaining to play, later on today, in the second round are both No. 1 ranked Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic.
Sharapova will face Tsvetana Pironkova.
Pironkova is currently ranked 38th and should present a good matchup for Sharapova.
Pironkova has not had much luck in Grand Slam tournaments since turning pro in 2006 at the age of 19, but for some reason she has had luck in Wimbledon. Last year she was a quarterfinalist and in 2010 she went all the way to the semis.
Djokovic will look to defend his Wimbledon title against American, Ryan Harrison.
Harrison, who is 20 years old, passed to the second round of a Grand Slam tournament for the second time in his three-year career, both times have been in Wimbledon. He comes into London ranked 48th in the tournament.
As far as Andy Roddick goes, he will resume his match against Jamie Baker. The draw was interrupted by inclement weather Tuesday night.
Roddick won the first set 7-6(1), while the second set is 4-2 in his favor.
The matchups will come as follows; Roddick will wait for Arantxa Rus and Samantha Stosur to finish their draw in Court 1.
After Roddick's match, Sharapova will take the floor.
Following Sharapova's match, French Gilles Simon, who is ranked 13th, will play against Xavier Malisse from Belgium.
Djokovic will sit as he must wait for two matches to finish on Centre Court before he can take on Harrison.
