Univision has the World Cup live coverage in Spanish and Spain and the Netherlands are playing live on the Brazil 2014 schedule on Friday for Group B and the live stream comes from Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador and has the Group B draw openings with the defending champions against the defending runners-up and this will be big for the Dutch and the Spaniards, as the loser may have a tough time advancing into the knockout stage.
Spain and the Netherlands is one of the highlight matches of the tournament and that is a rematch and gives the Spanish team a tough test to open their title defense. Spain won back in 2010 with one goal and now the team is hoping to start off with a win, as losing the first match could mean not advancing out of the group stage and both Brazil and Mexico have started off with wins and Spain would like to join them, but they have a tough Dutch team to contend with as well and that should make for an entertaining matchup.
The Dutch team has a set up that can counter what Spain likes to do and they want to clog up the midfield area and that will be important, as Spain has a deep midfield and will try and keep things on their side of the pitch. Diego Costa is a native of Brazil and plays now for Spain and he has a legion of hatred here, while Andres Iniesta comes in after getting the goal in the final against the Dutch and he will be key this time around as well.
Spain comes in looking to get three points here and the matchup with the Netherlands is rare for the group stages, as this is a rematch from the World Cup finals from back in South Africa and that adds a little motivation to both sides. Robin Van Persie is looking to make an impact and he could be the most important player for the Dutch team in this tournament.
The toughest group in the tournament is the group G draw and that has the United States, Portugal, Ghana and Germany and getting points from the first match will be crucial to getting out of that group. Spain and the Netherlands has to start off well and they both will be looking for at least one point in the opening game of the group matchup.
The Saturday schedule for the first week has some great matches and the top one to watch is England and Italy and that comes from the Amazon Stadium and should be great to watch from Manaus. The match has a number of high profile players and this is a rematch of the past and should be great for Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge as they try and bring England into the knockout stage with a tough group that includes Costa Rica and Uruguay and getting out of that group will be very hard for the English and everyone else.
