World Cup Schedule and Fixtures 2014 Brazil: Start Time and Live Stream For Group of Death

Jun 15, 2014 06:20 PM EDT

The FIFA World Cup schedule and fixtures for the Brazil 2014 soccer tournament continues Monday and the start times for the games and live stream coverage begins at 12 pm noon and teams like Switzerland, Ecuador, Argentina, France, Honduras played on Sunday and the United States, Germany, Portugal and Ghana are some of the teams in action over the next couple days on the football fixture schedule in Brazil.

The German side has a strong roster and they are going up against Portugal and they are both dealing with injuries coming into this game, including Portugal, who has Cristiano Ronaldo trying to get to 100 percent. Ronaldo could be the difference in this group, as Portugal is a strong team but they may not be as good without him in the lineup and that's the type of opening the US needs. Ghana and the United States are playing on Monday and their game is very anticipated after Ghana was the team that eliminated the US in each of the last two World Cup tournaments. The US then plays against Portugal and will finish against Germany and those matches will be very crucial if the team wants to advance.

The Sunday schedule saw Switzerland win over Ecuador in their first match and that was a big win for the Swiss, while France won with a dominant performance over Honduras and they have the inside edge in that group. Argentina is one of the favorites in the tournament along with Brazil, Germany and Spain, but the defending champions lost their first match and are under pressure to bounce back in the next game. Group E has some strong teams establishing themselves and France is now hoping to firmly put what happened in 2010 in South Africa behind them. The United States plays against Portugal in the Amazon stadium and if they lose their opener this game will be a must win and this is a huge chance for team USA to get in position to advance.

Brazil opened the tournament with a win against Croatia and there was some controversy in that game after a penalty was called and Neymar scored and they went up 2-1 and were able to score again for the win. The penalty was called controversial afterwards when Fred looked like he took a dive and now Brazil is stop of their group with Mexico. The schedule for group play continues this week and into next week and then the knockout stage comes after next week for the round of 16.
