Jun 15, 2014 10:49 PM EDT

The NBA finals 2014 has the San Antonio Spurs winners over the Miami Heat and the Spurs are now the champions over LeBron James and they have dethroned the champs and the series was won 4-1 after the Spurs won the past two games in Miami and they simply shot the lights out and now they are winners over LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh and now Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker have another ring.

James and the Miami Heat opened the game with a big lead and they were up 22-8 at one point before the Spurs started making a comeback and they could not make up that lead and the Spurs continued their hot shooting in this game. James did all he could with 31 points and 10 rebounds with five assists and that wasn't good enough and the Spurs got 22 points from Kawhi Leonard and they are now champions after losing in seven games last year.

The Spurs won over Miami after the heartbreak last year and now James and company will have to take stock and everyone will be looking at LeBron to see what he does in free agency if he opts out of his contract with Miami. Pop and Tim Duncan have four titles together and this is number five and the team won in dominating fashion with two wins in Miami and three straight victories after Miami tied things up at 1-1.

Miami went down 98-80 at one point in the fourth quarter and the Heat seemingly could not do anything against the deep bench of the Spurs and now they are champs. Leonard had an amazing series and he had a double-double in this matchup and James once again led his team in points, rebounds and assists, but their bench did not come through at all this series and the Spurs basically won this game in the second quarter with a score of 25-11 after Miami opened with a small lead in the first quarter. James and the Miami Heat won in seven games last season and now they miss out on the three-peat and this team could look very different come next year.

The Big 3 of the Spurs were more consistent overall than the big three of Miami and now the teammates will have another championship together and they did it by dethroning the two time champs. Duncan and the rest of the stars got the chance to sit down at the end and get ovations and the Spurs celebrated long and hard. The team had been thinking about this rematch all year and that is one reason why they came out so fierce this series and there was nothing Miami could do about it.
