Aaron Hernandez is back in court for the next time on Monday and it will be for an arraignment on charges about his fight with another inmate in the Bristol House of Correction and there is a chance that his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins and his mother Terri Hernandez will be in court when he appears.
Aaron Hernandez will appear in court soon for more things related to his career after he had an arraignment on first degree murder charges in the shooting deaths of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado stemming from a 2012 crime and that is the next appearance on schedule for the former New England Patriots tight end before he goes back in court regarding the Odin Lloyd murder case.
The news was first reported by the Boston Globe and prosecutors and police later had a press conference and announced the new charges. Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said that Hernandez was indicted on first degree murder charges in the shooting, which was previously unsolved with no suspects dating back to July 2012. The incident occurred near a nightclub that Hernandez and the two men were at earlier in the night and Abreu and Furtado were killed after leaving the club in a drive by shooting.
Hernandez allegedly had an issue during his time at the club with the two men and later followed them when they left in an SUV and pulled up alongside them at a red light and shot the car, killing both men and wounding another. The investigators said that Hernandez and the men did not know each other before entering the club and the lawyers for the former Patriots tight end said that Hernandez will plead not guilty at his arraignment and that a press conference does not mean the case has been proven yet.
In the Odin Lloyd murder no weapon has been found yet, but in the case involving the two men who died, a gun was recovered earlier this year in a traffic incident and that gun was linked to Hernandez. The SUV that was used for the drive by was later recovered in Bristol, the hometown of Hernandez and it was located in the garage of Hernandez's uncle's home. Some have speculated that the reason Hernandez killed Lloyd was because he had knowledge of this crime and while that has not yet been proven, some reports cite this as a working theory for investigators.

Hernandez was arrested last summer the week after Lloyd was found dead and soon after that the Patriots released him from the team. Based on the new information about the double murder, it's possible that Hernandez played the 2012 season after committing two murders and now the 27 year old faces three charges of first degree murder on top of the charges for having illegal guns. Hernandez's cousin Tanya Singleton was charged after she refused to testify to the grand jury despite being given immunity and she faces criminal contempt of court. Hernandez's fiance Shayanna Jenkins was charged with perjury in the case and she is expected to be at court when Hernandez appears along with his mother Terri Hernandez.
