The World Cup 2014 FIFA schedule has some major matchups on Tuesday, as Brazil takes on Mexico in an important Group A matchup and the start time is 3 pm ET and ESPN has the channel coverage, while the live stream is from WatchESPN and the Spanish language streaming coverage comes from Univision for the match at Estadio Castelao in Fortaleza for the host nation and the Mexican team El Tri.
Brazil and Mexico opened up with wins in Group A and that makes it a very important game on Tuesday for both sides if they want to advance in the knockout stage and points here could be crucial. Mexico had a game marred with controversy after two goals were waved off for being offside and it later was shown on video and both plays should have stood up, but the team was able to hold on for a 1-0 victory. Brazil won 3-1 against Croatia and that game opened up with an own goal before Brazil bounced back and they are trying to win the World Cup on their home soil after losing it the last time it was held there decades ago.
Neymar scored two goals in the first game and one was on a penalty kick and while it was a controversial call, Brazil was the better team in the game and now they have another tough matchup with Mexico. El Tri did not come into the World Cup at full strength and that plays to Brazil and while they will be without Hulk, the team is deep enough to overcome that.
The World Cup schedule continues on Tuesday with Brazil and Mexico in a major match and things pick up live on Monday with some major matchups coming live from ESPN as Group G got started with Portugal taking on Germany and the United States playing Ghana for the group of death and now things move into the rest of the week with second group matches coming up and Group A has the host nation and the Mexican side matching up in a crucial set on Tuesday.
