The 2012 NBA Draft is just hours away.
Today in Newark, New Jersey, college players will be parading down the stage as they look to take their game to the NBA. Hopefully David Stern does not give awkward hugs like NFL's Commissior, Roger Goodell did in their draft earlier this year.
So far the most popular player to go first, guaranteed, will be Anthony Davis from Kentucky to the New Orleans Hornets.
After this pick, everything is up in the air, especially after rumors of the Charlotte Bobcats possibly trading their No. 2 pick.
Thomas Robinson is believed to go second, while a consensus has been reach by NBA analysts that Bradley Beal will go third to the Washington Wizards.
Harrison Barnes looks like the favorite to land alongside Kyrie Irving in Cleveland, while Kentucky's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is expected to go west to Sacramento.
After the fifth pick, there are no secure projections.
Some believe Damian Lilliard is the better choice for the Portland Trail Blazers, while others see Andre Dummond from Connecticut ending up in Portland.
The sure thing is that both players are believed to go by the 6th and 7th round. The 7th pick would be made by the Golden State Warriors.
Austin Rivers, son of Boston Celtics' coach, Doc Rivers, is projected to go anywhere between the 8th pick to the 11th pick.
He could land in either Toronto, Detroit, New Orleans or Portland. Nobody has him going past the 11th round.
The Houston Rockets have the 12th pick of the draft and look to be leaning towards Meyers Leonard, the center from Illinois.
The Rockets have a chance to set their future up in this 2012 draft. They have the 16th pick and seem interested in Queens native, Moe Harkless. Meanwhile, their 18th pick is still up in the air.
Fast foward to the 21st and 22nd picks of the Boston Celtics. They are projected to take Syracuse's Fab Melo in either pick.
With an aging Kevin Garnett, it is a move that makes a lot of sense for the Celtics as their superstar forward's play is declining.
We then skip over to the world champions Miami Heat, thoughts are that they will go big with the 27th pick. Festus Ezeli (center) from Vanderbilt, who was rumored to have attended practices with the Cleveland Cavs, has drawn interest from the Heat, especially since they lack size down low.
The NBA Finals runner up, Oklahoma City Thunder follow the Heat with the 28th pick and look to pick up forward Draymond Green from Michigan State.
For those Knicks fans wonder what happened to their first round pick, remember the trade that sent Tracy McGrady to New York? Yeah, well you guys shipped your 2012 first-round pick to the Rockets in exchange.
The Knicks pick 48th and Jae Crowder from Marquette seems to be the favorite since he is big and plays great defense.
The NBA Draft will begin at 8PM and will take place from the Prudential Center.
