Jun 28, 2012 07:12 PM EDT

Many have referred to the 2012 NBA Draft as one of the most extensive in the most recent years.

The draft possesses superb talent from top to bottom, beginning with the projected No. 1 pick, Anthony Davis.

The New Orleans Hornets expect Davis to come straight from college and perform in the NBA. The 19-year old had an exceptional season and was the lead blocker in the NCAA last season.

Thomas Robinson, Bradley Beal, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Harrison Barnes are also coveted draft picks that are expected to go by the first five picks of the draft.

One of the intriguing parts of the draft are the possibilities of teams trading for picks, which could ultimately shake up the draft.

The Charlotte Bobcats hold the second pick of the draft, but since they missed out on the first pick and Anthony Davis, they do not seem to have interests in any of the rest of the top four players available.

Another team to follow in the draft is the Houston Rocket, they have three picks within the first round. Projections have the Rockets possibly picking up the clutch Austin Rivers.
