Aaron Hernandez is in court and the live stream comes from My Fox Boston and comes as he is appearing in the courtroom for a hearing on his double murder charges and now there is a tentative trial date for this trial on May 28, 2015 and the other trial for Hernandez for the Odin Lloyd killing is scheduled for October 6, 2014.
Hernandez is back in court, watch the live stream link here from FOX. The trial dates are not officially set and now his lawyers will try and balance working on both cases and right now the hearing is going on and getting scheduling together along with various motions and issues with evidence. The dates are set for now and the judge said that delays could happen later down the line and that means Hernandez has plenty of time left in jail.
Hernandez's fiance previously was charged with perjury regarding the Lloyd case and now Tanya Singleton, Hernandez's cousin, was charged with criminal contempt of court after not testifying before the grand jury in the case. Singleton was granted immunity to testify but she refused and she has multiple connections to the cases, including previous relationships with two men that were allegedly with Hernandez the night of the Odin Lloyd murder. Hernandez now has another big issue to deal with and on top of the previous murder charges he also was hit with a civil lawsuit from the families of the two men in a wrongful death suit for $6 million.
The original news about Hernandez came last summer when Lloyd was found dead less than a mile from Hernandez's home and he was later arrested by police and then released by the Patriots. Hernandez had his requests for bail denied and this came just as the team was preparing to start training camp and now this news implies that Hernandez played the season after committing two murders. The shooting happened in July of that year and that came six weeks before the Patriots signed him to the big extension and at the time the team though it locked up the tight ends of the future in Rob Gronkowski and Hernandez. Now Gronk is coming off of his second serious injury while Hernandez remained locked up in jail and accused of multiple murders.
