The USA and Germany game is live at the World Cup and The World Cup 2014 from Brazil is live on the radio on ESPN with a live stream for France and Ecuador as the two teams play a Group E matchup at the Estadio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro and it comes as the French side is looking to clinch the top of the group and make it into the knockout stages.

France has been one of the best teams in the tournament and they won their first two games by wide margins, becoming the third team in 50 years to win its two games by three goals and now they have the chance to try again. The team did it back in 1998 when they won the tournament in France and now they have put themselves into the favorite conversation again after the way they have played. Karim Benzema has been a revelation so far and apart from Lionel Messi he has played better than anyone and he could be the key player on Wednesday for the French side. The team pulled a mutiny last time out at the World Cup and now they have the chance to erase all of those memories.

Uruguay won over Italy and now they are through to the knockout stages but it was not without some major controversy. Luis Suarez looked like he bit a player late in the game and that led to a corner kick for the team and they ended up winning 1-0 and the Italian side was furious afterwards about what happened. Uruguay and Suarez tried to play it down after the match, but the video looks pretty clear and now FIFA may have a say in all of it.

Suarez is one of the most talented but frustrating players in the world and this incident is the exact reason why. Suarez scored two goals in the matchup with England to eliminate Wayne Rooney and company and now he is the center of attention again but for all the wrong reasons. Suarez has had multiple biting incidents before with Chelsea and Ajax and while those were much more explicit, this is the World Cup and billions of people are watching. Suarez has had his fair share of controversy as well at the World Cup and it follows this pattern of behavior.

Suarez was hit with a red card in South Africa while playing against Ghana, blocking a wide open shot with his hands to save a goal for Uruguay. The play eliminated the only African team left at the World Cup on the continent and that was a controversial move in itself even without that added in. Uruguay now plays Colombia in the round of 16 and that should be intense as well with how good James Rodriguez and his nation are playing after winning their matches and the group.

Suarez was named the best player in England this year and he led the Premier League in scoring for Liverpool, but now all of that is overshadowed. Suarez won back many fans with his play this year, but he may have lost all that goodwill now that he has been caught doing this for the third time. Costa Rica won the group D set over Uruguay, England and Italy and now those top teams are through and the rest are heading home.
