MLB Standings 2014: AL and NL Division Leaders and Wild Card Records Near All Star Break

The MLB Standings in 2014 in the AL and NL has the Oakland Athletics, Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays, Washington Nationals, Milwaukee Brewers and San Francisco Giants as division leaders, while the LA Angels, Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners are the American League Wild Card teams and in the National League it's the LA Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals.

The AL East has the Toronto Blue Jays leading the Orioles and the Yankees, while the Detroit Tigers are in the lead in the central over the Kansas City Royals. The Royals were in first place in the division before getting swept by the Seattle Mariners and now they are four games back, while the Mariners are 6.5 games back of the Oakland Athletics in the AL West, sitting three games behind the Angels. The team is second in all of baseball in run differential and they are one run back of LA and are playing better than they have in years.

In the National League the Nationals are leading the NL East, while the Atlanta Braves are 1.5 games back and Miami is 2.5 games back. The central has the Brewers leading over the Cardinals and Reds, while the NL West division has the Giants ahead of the Dodgers by three games and 11 up on the Rockies.

The Mariners are six games over .500 for the first time since 2009 and they are in the mix for the wild card this year and they are tied with the Orioles trailing the Angels in the standings. The Yankees are one game back and nearly the entire AL is in the mix, with the Houston Astros 8.5 games back behind the Chicago White Sox. The Dodgers and the Cardinals are leading the NL standings for the wild card ahead of the Atlanta Braves and Reds.
