The New England Patriots are not happy about the fact that they may have to share scouting reports the team made for tight end Aaron Hernandez in his murder case, as the Boston Globe reports that an attorney representing the Pats and head coach Bill Belichick argued the team should not have to give up those reports.

Hernandez's defense team is looking to use the scouting reports from the team in their presentation of their case and the team is opposing releasing certain documents. According to the Boston Globe, the Patriots attorney said the team is willing to give up hundreds of documents regarding Hernandez, but they opposing giving out ones from the NFL scouting combine and others from 2009 and 2010. The Patriots drafted Hernandez in 2010 in the fourth round and he reportedly dropped from the first two rounds into the fourth because of character issues.

Hernandez is facing life in prison for the murder of Odin Lloyd and he is also facing two counts of first degree murder stemming from a separate double homicide.
