Miami Heat Rumors: Eric Bledsoe, Toure Murry Free Agent Options As Shawn Marion, Greg Monroe Targets For Dwyane Wade?

The Miami Heat lost LeBron James this offseason and after bringing in Luol Deng, the team would love to add Eric Bledsoe or Greg Monroe as free agents but names like Jameer Nelson, Ramon Sessions, Toure Murry, Andrew Bynum, Greg Oden or Michael Beasley are more likely options on the free agent market for Dwyane Wade and Pat Riley.

The Miami Heat know they have to restock this season and they have done that in free agency with names like Luol Deng, Josh McRoberts, Danny Granger and adding back Chris Andersen, Mario Chalmers and Udonis Haslem. According to Pro Basketball Talk, Eric Bledsoe is the top free agent left on the market and while he is likely too expensive for the team, he could be a nice fit alongside Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and Deng, but the Suns are planning to match any deal he gets. Players like Evan Turner, Sessions and Jameer Nelson are more likely options for the team at this point, as Pat Riley now has end of the bench to think about.

Ray Allen is not making any quick decisions and he is looking at heading to Cleveland to play with LeBron or he could stay in Miami over retiring. Evan Turner has attention from the Boston Celtics and the Minnesota Timberwolves and he could be an option on the market, while Shawn Marion is another name on the market that could fit with the Heat. Marion is coming off of a solid year with the Mavs, but he is getting up there in age and that could be the perfect fit for Miami, as they need more depth on the bench.

The Miami Heat lost in the NBA finals last year and that was one reason why LeBron James left, but the writing was on the wall and now he is back in Cleveland. This actually could be great news for Dwyane Wade even with losing the best player in the world, as Wade gave up what he does best at times to make way for James and the team and now he could be empowered to play like he used to. Sure, his knees are not where they once were, but now that he won't be off the ball as much and James is not there, Wade could have a renaissance and Bosh could end up being more like the player he was in Toronto.

Bledsoe is looking at a major deal and that leaves the Miami Heat out after the moves they made, as he is looking for a five year deal and he is far apart with the Suns. According to ESPN.com, the Lakers thought about making a play on Bledsoe, but they wanted to give themselves cap flexibility rather than give him an offer sheet, as they knew that the Suns were planning on matching any offer. Bledsoe is part of a very talented back court and the Suns have some leverage after signing Isaiah Thomas and now it's likely a deal will get done at some point this summer. Miami has the chance to be a major factor in the east this season despite losing James, as they have Deng in the mix with Wade and Bosh.
