The LA Dodgers and San Francisco Giants are playing live on the MLB schedule on Sunday night and the ESPN coverage is from WatchESPN at AT&T Park and it starts at 8 pm ET and has Jake Peavy on the mound right after his trade from the Red Sox and he will be on the mound against Hyun-Jin Ryu and this NL West game is massive for the two sides as the playoff race gets closer in the National League.
The Dodgers and Giants are battling in the NL West and now Peavy reunites with Bruce Bochy and comes back to the National League after being in the AL for a number of years. Peavy is a World Series champion and now has the chance to make an impact for the Giants and in his career he has done very well against the Dodgers. Peavy has gone 14-2 in his career against LA and most of that comes from his time with the Padres.
The Giants are in second place in the NL West for the moment and they have been battling with the Dodgers all season and those two teams are in the mix for the division. The two have very big leads on the Padres and the Rockies and they will be the likely playoff teams if one can make it in the wild card as well.
