The ATP and WTA are playing the Rogers Cup US Open Series this weekend and the tennis tournaments are from Toronto and Montreal for the men and women and Serena Williams plays against Venus Williams, while Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Grigor Dimitrov, Roger Federer and Feliciano Lopez are playing for the men in the semifinals on Saturday before the finals on Sunday.
Federer is one to keep an eye on and that will be coming later on on ESPN after the Williams sisters play and their match has been good from the start. Serena won over Caroline Wozniacki to get through and now Tsonga is into the semifinals after pulling an upset and Federer made it after a three set match and Tsonga came in with a win against Andy Murray. That was a big win for him and he now has some momentum coming into the US Open and the tournament next week.
Federer won his match over David Ferrer and now the number two seed is through and he had also won earlier against Marin Cilic. Now Federer will try and get this title and this is a good warm up before the US Open in Queens.
Serena and Venus Williams are playing in the semis and after going down 3-1 against her sister, Serena came back to go up 4-3 in the first set of the match. The two never like playing against each other, but this is a great performance at this tournament for Venus and now she is matching up with her sister ahead of the US Open, which starts after Cincy next week.
