NFL 2014 Schedule: Week 2 TV Start Time and Channel For Saturday Preseason Games

The NFL preseason schedule 2014 for Week 2 started up on Thursday with the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars and the TV start time is at 8 pm ET and the channel coverage is from ESPN with a live stream from WatchESPN as the football week kicks off and that leads into a full slate with the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints in action.

The Friday schedule comes after the first ESPN preseason game of the week and the matchups start at 7:30 pm, as the New England Patriots are hosting the Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium. The two teams have been sniping a bit back and forth and now that game will go down, while the Titans and Saints will be next and that comes before the San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks game from CenturyLink Field. The matchup between the Eagles and Pats is on the NFL Network and so is the Hawks game.

The final matchup on Friday has the Detroit Lions taking on the Oakland Raiders and that will be from O.co Coliseum and kicks off at 10 pm ET, same time as the Seahawks and Chargers game. The Saturday schedule has a big slate of games as well and those matchups open at 4 pm ET with the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis rams matching up and that will be at the Edward Jones Dome on the NFL Network.

The NY Giants and the Indianapolis Colts are playing at 7 pm ET and that game will be at Lucas Oil Stadium at the spot where the G Men won their last Super Bowl. Eli Manning and the offense are looking to get on track and that kicks off at the same time as the Cincinnati Bengals and the NY Jets and that will be at Paul Brown Stadium. The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are playing on the NFL Network and that game starts up at 7 pm ET as well. The Buffalo Bills and Steelers play at the 7:30 kick off time, while the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also kicking off at that time.

The Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans are playing at 8 pm ET and that matchup will be at Reliant Stadium and starts at 8 pm ET. The Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings then finish off the Saturday slate and then it leads into two games on Sunday. The first game has the Denver Broncos taking on the San Francisco 49ers in Cali, while the next game has the Chiefs playing the Panthers. The first matchup is on the NFL Network and then the second game is at 8 pm ET on FOX.

The final game of the week has the Cleveland Browns taking on the Washington Redskins and that is the first ESPN Monday night football game of the preseason. The game starts up at 8 pm ET and is at FedEx Field as Johnny Manziel and Robert Griffin III face off.
