The Philadelphia Eagles had one of the best offensive units in the NFL last season and now the team should have some more top draft picks in fantasy football PPR leagues, as names like LeSean McCoy, Darren Sproles, Nick Foles, Riley Cooper and Jordan Matthews all could have very solid years under Chip Kelly in year two and McCoy could be one of the best fantasy players in all of football for the 2014 season.
The Eagles were ranked first in the league in rushing yards per game last season and they also were in the top 10 in passing yards per game and that should translate this year as well. Chip Kelly took over last season and put in his new system and Foles thrived in that and while he is down one receiver in DeSean Jackson, he will have a very productive rookie coming in with Jordan Matthews and he could help make up that production.
Foles comes in after passing for nearly 3,000 yards and he barely had any turnovers with two picks to go with 27 touchdowns and that is plenty of scoring to go around. Foles has Matthews coming in along with Darren Sproles and those two players should be very solid offensive options to go with Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper. Last season Maclin was injured and DeSean Jackson put up great numbers, but with him gone, Maclin and Cooper now step up into the top two spots.
Last season Cooper had a strong season with 47 catches for over 800 yards and eight touchdowns and he should up all those numbers this season. McCoy is the player to snag as soon as possible, as he is a top performer and productive player for the Eagles after rushing for 1,600 yards last season. McCoy had nine touchdowns last season on the ground and he also added 52 catches for 539 yards and another two scores and he should once again be in the mix catching balls out of the backfield.
Adding Darren Sproles is a huge move by the team and some other players to keep an eye on include Zach Ertz and Brent Celek at tight end. The Eagles should be strong once again and their players should be looked at as solid options in PPR leagues.
